Litter Clean Up

 Great American Cleanup - This Keep America Beautiful Program is the country’s largest community improvement program that kicks off in more than 20,000 communities each spring. This national program engages 2 million volunteers who take action in their communities to create positive change and lasting impact. Cleanups are held in Downtown North Platte, Westfield Shopping Center, Wallace, Hershey and Maxwell. KNPLCB provides supportive services, cleanup supplies like garbage bags, gloves and water. The goal for the day is to work with your friends and neighbors and come away with a fresh outlook, pride in the community, and to have a whole lot of fun!

Rural Route - Routes are given to those who apply for these rural cleanups in Lincoln County. Routes are given based on availability and grant dollars.· 

Lake Maloney Cleanup - Lake residents gather to pick up trash around the litter around the 9 mile perimeter of the lake just south of North Platte.

Trails Cleanup - Designated areas are adopted by local organizations to keep the trail system in North Platte free of trash and debris.
